Gilly JohnsBrowse Gilly's work available TODAYAbout Gilly Gilly returned to her roots at Cornwall’s most southerly point, the Lizard, to set up her gallery in the tiny fishing village of Cadgwith. With a postgraduate degree from Goldsmiths in London, experience as a muralist, as an art teacher – and as a saxophonist in a band – Gilly’s response to the beauty of Cornwall led to the distinctive, and wonderfully colourful series of paintings she is now well known for. Light and bright or moonlit and lovely, Gilly’s paintings of the beautiful fishing villages and coves, estuaries and harbours of West Cornwall are much loved. Her signed print collection is full of our favourite places. Gilly's vibrant colours enchant so many people who visit our gallery... |
