| Lucy DunnettAbout Lucy• Work currently available - CLICK HERE Lucy is known for her striking mountain landscape and ‘poster style’ paintings produced whilst living in the Swiss Alps. Her paintings are inspired by her own travels and experiences, and so since moving to the Bath area, her attention has turned to the English landscape. We are proud to offer her very first original acrylic paintings of this region here at Imagianation Gallery along with a range of signed giclée prints. In her own words: "I am fascinated by how changes in the light can completely transform a scene and enjoy revisiting the same landscape during different seasons, weather and times of day. I find myself still drawn to the hills, in particular the Westbury White Horse and Kelston Roundhill, and to viewpoints of Bath which capture the City’s unique buildings and the stunning surrounding countryside."
Education: BA (Hons) Illustration, Falmouth College of Arts, 2002 Inspiration: “Painting is a way of communicating vision and experience so that it reaches beyond a single moment in time. What fills our hearts and spills over must be shared.” (Stormy Bailey) Materials: Acrylic paints on canvas or wood Exhibitions: Musée de Bagnes, Le Châble, Switzerland, 2010, 2013 with Bagn’Art artist’s group Nanuq Gallery, Verbier, Switzerland, 2011, 2012, 2013 Sugar Store Gallery, Kendal, UK, 2011 for Kendal Mountain Festival Rostra Gallery, Bath, UK, 2015 as part of group exhibition ‘Good Impression’ Imagianation Gallery, Bath, UK, 2016
